Workflow
Phase 1 — Data Collection (5-10 minutes)
Before launching agents, collect the user's complete financial picture. Ask in this order:
Demographics & Goals
- Age, marital status, dependents
- Retirement target age
- Top 3 financial goals (next 5 years)
- Risk tolerance (conservative / moderate / aggressive)
- State of residence (for tax estimation)
Income
- Gross annual income (W-2, 1099, business)
- Spouse/partner income (if applicable)
- Other income sources (rental, dividends, side hustle)
- Income stability (stable / variable / seasonal)
Expenses
- Total monthly fixed expenses (housing, utilities, insurance, debt minimums)
- Total monthly variable expenses (food, transport, entertainment)
- Annual irregular expenses (insurance premiums, holidays, vacations)
Assets
- Checking + savings balance
- Emergency fund balance (if separate)
- Investment accounts (401k, IRA, Roth, taxable brokerage) with balances
- Real estate equity (home, rentals)

Liabilities
- Mortgage (balance, rate, payment, years remaining)
