Overview

Security practices for Mistral AI integrations: API key management, prompt injection defense, output sanitization, content moderation with mistral-moderation-latest, request logging without secrets, and key rotation.

Examples

Respond to an accidentally exposed key

Revoke the exposed key in the provider console, create a replacement in the secret manager, deploy the new secret reference, and verify the service with a metadata-only request. Search the affected logs and commit history for further exposure, but never paste the old or new secret into the incident record.
