Announcement Structure

In-App

  • Tooltip/badge for minor features.
  • "What's New" section in help menu.
  • Don't announce every bug fix.

Email

  • Subject: what changed + benefit. "New: Export to PDF — share designs anywhere."
  • Brief intro (2 sentences).
  • Feature showcase with screenshot/GIF.
  • CTA: "Try it now" linked to the feature.

Blog Post

  • Problem → Solution → How It Works → What's Next.
  • Screenshots or demo video.
  • Link to documentation.
  • Credit the team (optional but good culture).

Timing

  • Don't announce on Friday (nobody reads weekend announcements).
