  • any type - use unknown and narrow
  • ❌ Type assertions (as) - use type guards
  • ❌ Non-null assertions (!) - handle null explicitly
  • @ts-ignore without explanation
  • ❌ Enums - use const objects or union types
  • ❌ Classes for data - use interfaces/types
  • ❌ Default exports - use named exports
